This was the tallest structure in north Africa for many years and still provides the best view over all of Cairo. You can appreciate the expanse of the great city on the Nile in an incomparable way.

We went at dusk and maybe that was a mistake because the queue was really very long. It took us an hour and a half of standing in line to get to the top of the tour and an hour to get down. To walk around the top of the tower and take pictures takes about 20 minutes. The views are pretty amazing but goodness, it requires a lot of patience to get to it.
I would recommend going to this place if you have plenty of time in Cairo it is located in a nice aerea near azamalek there was a bit of queue but it was ok for the elevator to get up there when you get there you have a more clear vision of the city and especially ezzamalek and Nile river it helped understand the geography and locations of everything in the beautiful city Cairo
It was an incredible long wait for the elevator to take us up to the top of the tower, and there are no stairs....
very nice views, but the wait to get back down might have been even longer -- way too much time wasted just standing in line
May not be as tall as other Towers famous in other parts of globe but one gets a nice view of Cairo from top. Illuminated Cairo, especially the restaurants, hotels, cruises along river Nile look beautiful. Has a revolving restaurant for food at top. Well maintained place & was open in evening during Ramadan.
saw the cairo tower from a distance, looks ok not so the wow look. not sure if can climb up and didnt want to.
