Khan Al-Khalili is an open-air bazaar and definitely worth visiting while in Cairo. It's filled with Egyptian and hand made souvenirs but also some that are made in China! So be sure to look for labels if you want to purchase authentic Egyptian made items.

A walk down Khan Al-Khalili brings back an air of the Nobel prize novelist Naguib Mahfooz right there. A visit to Cairo won't be complete without a walk down those narrow alleyways
