The church was built on two ancient towers of a Roman fort in the third century and not on a regular foundation; thus acquired the name. The architecture was unique with a wooden roof of lightweight in the shape of Noah's Ark. Among the many beautiful icons that adorn the walls, Mother Mary's was considered the most beautiful. Must visit the church for its history and beauty, leave alone faith! The souvenir shop and the surrounding areas in the old city were also beautiful and we walked through small lanes and visited some more churches nearby. Photos were not allowed inside the Hanging Church that we had to register all those images in our mind.
