This is a rebranded Korean BBQ restaurant owned/run by the artistes of the famous reality programme "Running Man".
There were many posters and standees of well known Korean celebrities "greeting" you. It was around 7.15pm when we arrived and the restaurant was quite crowded as it was Sunday evening. After waiting for a mere 10mins, the 3 of us were ushered to a window seats that provided us with a good view around. The ambience was nice and cosy.
The staff could speak good English and even Mandarin and so do not worry about the language barrier and menu were in 3 main languages too. As we have had quite a heavy lunch and high tea earlier, we decided to order a light meal (as we prepared to have dessert thereafter), so we ordered 2 portions of Pork Belly (14,900 won each), each 250grams, one cold noodles (5,000 won) and a rice (1,000 won). Side dishes were served, mainly Kim Chi, pickled radish, mushrooms. You can help yourself to refill with these items and one bottle of drinking water is provided for every table.
Do take note that it's a norm for every table to order at least 2 portions of meat (in most BBQ restaurants) regardless of number of people.
Shortly our Pork Belly came and wow, they were fresh, huge, meaty and tempting. The staff helped us to put in the charcoaled skewer to BBQ them and later, helped us to cut them into smaller pieces. It was so good and fragrant even not eating it yet.
When they were ready, we ate them following the local way of eating which was to take a small piece of the BBQ belly, wrapping it with a lettuce/mint leaf, putting in some garlic and chilli paste and one-mouth bite! And wow, it was so good as the meat was well BBQ, juicy, oily and very fragrant!
We could not help and ate non stop! Even the Kim Chi and pickled radish were good! The only thing was that the chilli was not spicy for me!
Service was fine as staff regularly dropped by to see and helped with the BBQ.
After making the payment, there was a bottle of air freshner at the counter for one to spray on his/her body to remove the BBQ/Charcoal ordour. Interesting.
We enjoyed our meals here and were very satisfied though the price was slightly higher than others perhaps due to its "star" attraction!
