I stayed in this hotel for two nights after a previous hotel was unsatisfactory. This hotel is in the business district, about an hour or so drive from Incheon airport.

Reception was ok, the staff was very limited in English. My room was on the 7th floor, below the skybar floor. The room was very small and the airconditioning is set at 26 degree C. Internet was not working, after checking with the front desk, a bell boy informed us that the only working internet connections were in the room at the other side of the hall way. These were Korean rooms with no bed. There was a loud refrigerator in the room with water (bottle of mineral water is 3000 won.)

The bathroom was old and in need of refurbishing, mold in the shower curtain, etc. I couldn't believe they were going to charge me 2000 won for shampoo in a 100.000 won room!!!

We tried to go to the nightclub "lamp" in the basement, but the doormen wouldn't allow us in. Or: "no nightclub, no nightclub!!!" as they put it. Turned out this was a place for karaoke with female entertainers for business man.

The Skybar at the top only serves whisky (and Hite beer), no cocktails. And they insist you pay cash / credit card, so no room charge.

There is no breakfast buffet, so you have to order from the menu (american breakfast: 13000 won).

The surrounding area is geared to business people Korean style: most bars will provide female entertainers and many good restaurants. If you're looking to find a bar to just have a beer: good luck, we didn't succeed!

I was a walk-in. They gave me a room, but the dining room was not what I expected. I ordered a hamburger and had to wait 20 minutes to get it. The spa area was great the room was more than comfortable, however, the bar and the sky lounge are closed on Sunday. The frint desk staff is pretty good, but need to practice oral English more. Kennard C. Napier PS I will be staying again soon
