We simply couldn't have had a better experience for our one day tour from Tbilisi. Giorgi is great! He made everything so easy and pleasant and did his utmost to ensure we were comfortable even though he was not our actual guide on the day. It was lovely to meet him and our very wonderful guide, Teona, for a fantastic tour...we learnt so much and it a real pleasure to be in her company. I would certainly recommend Expert Guides...you'll be in great hands, we can't wait to visit again.

Giorgi was highly recommended by colleagues and he truly made our time in Georgia one of the most memorable trips in recent memory. I had one week travelling in Georgia with my daughter and Giorgi was incredibly responsive and patient and put together an excellent itinerary that incorporated everything that we both could have wanted - nature, history, art, food and (of course) Georgian wine.

Giorgi’s beautiful personality and generosity with his time made us feel the true soul of Georgia and he was able to bring the rich and complex Georgian history alive with his stories, humour , honesty and energy. Giorgi introduced us to many local people on our way and we were able to experience their generous hospitality, which gave us an incredible insight into the daily lives of Georgian people. We stayed in great accommodation and shared the most amazing Georgian food and drank many delicious types of wine. He even called ahead and made sure one of our guest houses had a roaring open fire to welcome us on our arrival.

We really felt like we were travelling with an old friend and not only a tour guide. By the end of the trip we were really sad to say goodbye and we both hope we get another opportunity to travel with the wonderful Giorgi in Georgia. Thank you Giorgi for such a unique experience. If you decide to go to Georgia, make sure you book Giorgi and don’t forget to try the local grappa ‘cha cha’ - be careful! (it’s strong).

A friend and I were visiting Tbilisi for the weekend and arranged a tour with Expert Guides Georgia. Our tour guide was Giorgi who was a super knowledgable guy, not just about Georgia but all things Georgian from wine, to history, politics, everything! We spent the whole day visiting monasteries and the mountains before stopping off for some wine tasting and local bread. Although we had never met Gio before, we had no problem talking to him all day and he was a good laugh. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone considering it and especially for the great price and customer service. Thanks Gio!

Me and friend did a tour with Giorgi just for one day, but it was an amazing experience worth recommending. We drove around in the 4x4 Nissan Patrol on rough roads with a great view when Giorgi shared history of his country as well as some fun facts. He is really entertaining and knows where to get i.e. good, home-made traditional bread as well as traditional Georgian sweets. Definitely worth recommending as the time we had with him was worth every Lari spent. I will be back for sure :)

We had planned a short trip to Georgia in mid December and wanted to get the most out of our time, so I exchanged emails with a few different guides and chose Giorgi for the following reasons:
- his prompt, helpful and informative responses to emails
- the fact that his car (a Nissan Patrol) looked pretty rugged, and I knew we might need to cross some snowy mountain passes
- his unbroken track record of 5 star TripAdvisor reviews

I made a great choice. Giorgi was with us for most of our time in Georgia, and really made our trip enjoyable, as if we were visiting a friend in a foreign country. He's a fount of knowledge and we finished our trip as experts in Georgian history, politics, religion, food, wine and numerous other matters. On the one day that we spent without Giorgi, he was regularly checking in with us to see if we needed any help, making sure we had things to do and doing whatever he could to make things easy for us. Most importantly, he made a real effort to engage my six year old daughter in our activities, whether it was demonstrating the proper way to eat dumplings, building a snowman, arranging a skiing lesson or just buying her some of her favourite chocolate.

Oh, and he also has good taste in music, which is a bonus on any long car trips.

Highly recommended.
