Great place to stay in Yangon

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 July 2019
Excellent experience at the Jasmine Palace. The rooms are a very good size, the beds incredibly comfortable, the breakfast had a large range of choices and the staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Friendly and helpful staff.
I stay at room 1413 which can see Shwedagon for the window.
The room was clean with good layout.

Have to aware of room payment in cash, make sure that your banknote is extremely new, unless they will not accept.

I'm not sure is it just me but Burmese folks are one of the friendliest and nicest bunch! Hotel staff are very friendly and always welcomes us back with a smile. Nice pool and very well equipped gym! Has most of the equipments cept a squat rack. Very very impressed at this price point. Breakfast variety is also good with some changes on a daily basis, mostly asian and western with bread and fruits. My parents were very happy with the hotel selection.

I stayed in Jasmine Palace Hotel for 4 days for my business. The hotel located in a center of the city and it is easily to reach all the attraction points in the city. Breakfast is wide range of food. Price is affordable.

Visited as a day guest. The use of pool with changing rooms, towel etc, was 10 dollars. Very reasonable. The hotel is nice the staff are also very nice as they all are in Yangon. The hotels pool is on the 5th floor with great views across the city. The pool is half open half covered, however it was freezing, even on a boiling hot day it was freezing, it needs to be a bit warmer.

The bar and restaurant is all open plan and as it gets dark turns into a beautiful place to sit and chill. The gym is just of to the side.

We ate as well. It was ok but not amazing. The hotel reception staff were all very helpful as well.

It’s a nice place, not the nicest in Yangon but a good solid four star. I wouldn’t complain if I stayed but not my first choice.

The hotel isn’t right in the centre but taxis are so cheap and plentiful it won’t matter. It’s about a ten minute drive to downtown from here.

My husband and I stayed for four nights at the end of our Myanmar trip. The staff were very welcoming on arrival. Our room was very spacious and modern with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast provided an extensive choice with great views of the city too. The pool/bar area was functional, with an ample choice of snacks/drinks.

All I all, a thoroughly enjoyable end to our trip.
