We went in the morning, and there were few others there. Took a bus from town for 250v each way (apparently most people pay 300). You don't need a tour/guide, the track is a simple 15-20 minute walk uphill. The walk itself is beautiful (beside the river most of the way) but the waterfalls and pools at the top are the main event! Wear your swimsuit, climb the rocks, swim in the pools and go under the waterfalls. So much fun! There is a bit of shade up there, but sunscreen might be advised. We swam/climbed in bare feet which was fine, but reef shoes would have been better.
