Have to agree with chasingfish. We stayed there twice in the mid to late 1990's on diving trips. The hotel was nice and helpful. I see a lot of people complaining but to tell the truth, I have stayed in some hotels in Sydney that were more expensive and no where near as good as the king solomon. You have to remember that Honiara is a bit of an adventure and the place runs on island time. If it doesn't get done today then tomorrow which i found refreshing. Want to go back when all the tension is finally over and it can be a great island to visit again. Looking forward to that.
