Friendly staff. awesome food. very quite. best place in Honiara. However with the price I feel breakfast should be included like in Fiji or Vanuatu. I will always stay at HP when I'm in Honiara. Also when an Indian books, breakfast should be suited to them also.

Room Tip: Lovely rooms

It is trying to be a five star hotel and is firmly stuck in the three and a half star range. The prices are 4 star +. Not quite sure where to start. Check in was fine but the room was not finished and then they came back later because there were no pillow cases. The service is very island time and most of the time we found ourselves getting up and going to get the bill, the coffee, the drinks etc. As I say in the title the staff are very friendly and nice just need more training and an effective supervisor to assist them. The food is fairly basic and expensive for what it was. I accept that a lot is imported but given the prices it is not really an excuse. The restaurant seemed to be taken over for a dinner for a conference group one evening and then for the PNG football team the next day for breakfast. Pool is nice but even there the pool bar does not open until about 3:30 pm. Just needs to lift and the changes would not be that difficult to make.

Room Tip: Try for one looking over the sea front for a nice view and unless you want the exercise avoid the 2n...

Staff worked hard to ensure that I had a lovely stay. Rooms were clean and well serviced although room cards did not always work. Beware of rooms in Block 1 next to the disco unless you like to sleep to a doof doof beat!!

The Heritage Park is a lovely hotel on the water and it has many attractions such as the pool area, the walk along the waters edge and food and drink facilities.

The problem is that it is outrageously expensive and doesn't deliver on service.

I ended up in a room with two single beds that were frankly, uncomfortable.

For almost $400 AUS a night you expect something truly special but the dinner I ordered by the pool sat at the chefs serving window for almost 15 minutes before a lot of huffing and puffing by myself finally saw the meal delivered to my table, luke warm and going soggy. The drink prices are Sydney cocktail bar prices without anything like the selection or quality and the whole place just leaves you with that "designed to be a vacuum cleaner for stray cash" sort of feel.

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly. Gardens are beautiful. Clean and inviting.

But it is seriously overpriced.

All of the staff at the hotel are very welcoming, which instantly makes you feel at home. The “home,” however, leaves a lot to be desired, even though it is the best hotel in Honiara. The rooms are OK, but rather basic. The bathroom is very cramped. The internet connection is spotty and slow. The air conditioner is noisy, and the safe malfunctioned. The food is pretty good. Nonetheless, this is probably your best bet in Honiara.
