Rouna falls is not only small, there is no proper area with barricades for sight-seeing. The place is soooo beautiful that you might fall into the fall, whilst admiring the poor beauty that it does have remaining.

A proper footpath should be constructed leading to the sight-seeing area, as people are just admiring from the bush mountains, which is soooo disturbing.

Bottom line, RAUNA FALL GET FIXED UP!!!!!!

Rouna Falls is not majestic by any standards and is only worth a stop at the lookout after rainfall. There is a parking area on the side of the road under an electricity tower. The locals charge PGK5 per person to stop and look at the falls - just start walking to the lookoout and somebody will appear from nowhere and ask you for the sightseeing fee. There may not be a receipt gievn. The lookout is a 2 minute walk from the car park and is out of sight of the car park and there is a risk of your car being interfered with so don't leave your car unattended.
