“Good North Indian Food”
Review of Roti & Boti

Roti & Boti
Ranked #349 of 1,020 Restaurants in Doha
Price range: USD 50 - USD 200
Description: Since our humble beginnings in 2016 has been inspired with the passion to cook and serve healthy, Indian-inspired takeout cuisine. Unlike other Indian restaurants, Roti & Boti was created with the specific intention to be different. We know many people love Indian food, but many of them dislike or unaware of the commonly unhealthy ingredients that make typical Indian food taste so good. Our menu features items that use the healthy and aromatic spices, but leaves out the fattening ghee, butter, oil, and heavy cream. Roti & Boti has grown to include some more wonderful takeout locations in Middle-East with more to come in the near future. Our team takes pride in the fact that we can provide our new and loyal customers with great tasting Indian-inspired food that is unlike that at any other Indian restaurant you frequent. We recognize that some people are still looking for the typical Indian food, and that’s fine with us. Our disclaimer is that if you’re expecting heavy, oily, unhealthy

Been here quite a few times and I think it's high time that I write a few good words about this restaurant. I should say the taste and service was consistent all through out.

We have tried the different thalis here, Gujarathi, Rajasthani, Maharashtrian and Punjabi. Have tried the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options also. They have different types of rotis served in the thalis, which were all good.
The Gujarathi thali is more sweet, true to their tradition.
I enjoyed more the Rajasthani thali.
Punjabi non-veg thali had fish amritsari, chicken and another chicken-mutton mix curry. I requested to change the mix curry and they served me kheema mutton instead.
Maharashtrian fish curry thali is also interesting.
Overall, there is an abundance of oil and ghee. Food is enjoyable, however, considering the prices, there is scope for improvement

All thalis are served in a very interesting two setter plate. One oval plate holds all the curries and another round plate contains the rotis.

Hotel is quite spacious with two floors. It's decorated with many artefacts from Rajasthan and other north Indian states. It's difficult to find parking nearby, however, valet parking is available. Service was good always.

Overall, it's a decent place serving reasonably good food.

The chaat section is really good. We ordered the shevpuri and it was really good. Go for the thaali and then add rice or naan/rotis extra. We ordered the Roti Boti non veg special and it was quite filling and good taste. The chicken reshmi kebabs were too good.

Will definitely go again

Worked more on interior design.
Needs to work on gravy, kebabs and naan quality. Chaats are ok!

Good part is the vallet parking which is very much needed for the location.

Thali orders are really humungous. Always remember not to order separate lassi if your order is going to be Thali. The food served is good but the service is dead slow. The key is you have to be patient. Well, a bit costly.
