Great rooftop view of a historic part of Beirut's waterfront of restaurants and walkway of palm trees by the boulevard that runs along the sea side. Courteous and helpful staff, good location to get to central attractions. I struck up a good friendly rapport with the rooftop bar staff. Knew their DJ from the past and it was good to hang out there as the sun sets.
The internet is often slow but that is a country-wide problem not specific to them.
You will be charged extra get get a view of the sea instead of the back with bombed buildings or open lots. There is a parking garage. Though I didn't use it, it's seem like a nice convenience.
Rooms and facilities are clean well kept. You can find a good, reasonable price for the hotel at various sites.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view but be ready to pay extra.

Location on waterfront great.
Hotel fine, little dated but spacious room, neat balcony and good breakfast.
Busy doing renovations to rooftop bar area - otherwise could have been rooftop noise in room.
Great walk along waterfront promenade.
Good walk or taxi needed to entertainment and restaurant areas.
No beach access to swim close but one can sit and sun on the rocks as everyone does.

Room Tip: Need to overlook the water. Street and promenade activity pretty constant.

A super location that is very convenient to both downtown and Hamra. The hotels is getting a but tired, but is still lovely. Be sure to pay the extra for a bay side room as the view is wonderful overlooking the Corniche. The service was a bit stiff but very complete and exact. It is a very small hotel with less than 50 rooms so very quiet. The breakfast is served up on the roof, so the morning view is wonderful. It was still a bit too cold to eat outside but in the warmer months that must be wonderful. The food was average. No concierge service so make your own tour arrangements and transportation.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a Bay side room.

The location is just perfect. Seaview in the morning, guess nothing could be better. Such beautiful sunrises on the Miditerranean Sea.
And this is the main feature of the hotel.
As well the hotel is located very close to shopping streets full of boutiques and brand-houses. A lot of very nice restaurants are around, especially the seafood restaurant just on the opposite side from the hotel.
Regarding the hotel by itself, well from the first side I can tell it's a small, old-fashioned hotel. Apparently the hotel had better times, it is necessary to restore and rebuild the hotel, as it looks really pretty shabby. The elevator takes ages to climb to the 5th floor and so tiny and very old-fashioned. Guess this is first thing need to be changed=)
The room is big, spacious, with seavieaw and big nice balcony. It was noisy because of traffiic and cold because of winter, but I am sure it will be a good choice for a summer trip. The design in the room as well is quite old, furniture also looks old. My wardrobe was very creaking, and the table was looking very shabby. But I had so soft, so cozy and comfortable bed that I could barely climb out of bed in the real world.
The breakfast was quiet poor. But the quality of food was nice, very fresh bread and pastries. But lack of fresh fruits, fruits salad. May be Im too picky=)
And the most pleasant part to write for me is about stuff. So caring and so attentive stuff! From nice welcome,a small gift in my room to arranging a difficult travel with all the care about my comfort and safety,well... it was wonderful!
So I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Khaled (receptonist) for arranging really pleasant and safe trip especially during these times. Thank you for your care during all my stay, and mainly because of your help and cooperation you made my trip more easy and wonderful! Unfortunately I was not able to say goodbye in person, so I think I see you soon! Thanks Mr Khaled!
