This park is centrally located in douthern Tehran near Golestan palace. Springtime is great with flower blossoms and green leafy trees, good weather and sunlight with outdoor activities. We went there on Islam republic fay of Iran so this place was so crowded with locals and visitors. In the middle, there is an outstanding monument with background of snow capped mountain and turquoise colored pool with fountains at front.

Park-e Shahr is a public park located in the central Tehran and therefore, when Tehran is clean it would be the best time to visit and walk in the Park. There is a peace museum but today on Saturday it was closed. You have to check before if you want to visit museum. One thing that surprised me was the pigeons building or Kaboutar-khaneh (as it is called in Farsi). I have seen similar buildings in Southern parts of Isfahan province. A tour guide can explain you about this form of buildings. I saw birds too, some in small cages, some in restricted areas. I did not like it. But those who like birds, especially children, may enjoy watching.

Great place to escape the crowed and noisy street of Teheran. Right in the city center, close to museums and the bazaar. Nice cafe.
