“Not exactly a nature walk”
Review of Darband

A fun activity and you walk up to quite a high altitude, but you're walking up a valley filled with restaurants. Carpet beds even over the stream so you don't see much nature unless you walk over 90 minutes up.
Still a fun thing to do.
Take metro lone 1 to Tarish and walk uphill to the traffic circle. Shared taxi was IRR30,000 to Darband. Walked back down to metro afterward no problem.

Natural place with lots of restaurants which can be your choice for having lunch or dinner. Fresh air and beautiful view of Tehran with sound of water floating there would amazed any visitor. Some of the restaurant are over-priced.

After a hot day spent in Tehran, we decided to visit this fresh part of the City. Many nice restaurants and really few tourists. If you want to forget Tehrans noise and traffic, this is the right place to go. Take metro line up to Tajrish, have a fast tour in the bazar then a taxi to Darband. Thats it.

I recommend everyone who travels to Tehran to visit Darband. It is a beautiful, a little mountainous and alive place 24 hours a day. You can find very delicious food in restaurants there, at least you can enjoy a nice fresh tea time there.
