I stayed here during my Hajj in 2010. 10 - 15 min walking distance to al-haram. Have a cheap and good restaurant in front of it. During my stay there's a few indonesia and pattani people selling food in front of it. its a homemade food. Friendly staff.

I just stayed in this hotel for a week and I can confidently tell you its one of worst I've stayed in. As it was my first umrah, staying here almost ruined my experience. This is not a four star hotel. Me and my wife got a 5 single bed room, burnt carpet and dusty room. The bathroom was unclean and found the toilet seat stained. The staff were not very helpful and I did not feel welcomed at all. The shuttle bus drivers were the worst. One was dark, tall and lanky. The other had a tache and thick rim glasses. Because my wife has a bad leg, we relied on this bus. The drivers would refuse us entry in the bus and we had to walk to the haram a lot of times, making it difficult for my wife. The tall and lanky driver refused me entry because I carried a bottle of zam zam, even when there were no people in the bus. I even have a photo which the driver just walks away from us when entering the bus. This hotel is not 5 min walking distance from the haram as advertised. Its 20 min. All these complaints I've made, I have them backed up by photos. My advise is do not stay at this hotel. You will not get your moneys worth.

We stayed during Ramadhan. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance when it is not crowded. but when salah finishes and you walk back to the hotel it can take up to 20-25 minutes. It doesn't have the bestest of views, as it is next to a busy road but then again it is away from the busy area of around the Masjd alHaram. This hotel is supposed to be 4 star but we stayed on the second floor and we would rate it 3 star as the decor was quite dated, the carpets were worn and the beds needed replacing. The restaurant and buffet service was very good with a variety of choice and helpful staff at hand. The hotel shuttle service again is very good; it runs about every 8 minutes to and from the masjid. The bus is very clean and sits about 15-20 people and is air conditioned. In conclusion, we were dissapointed with the room and the location but being away from the busy area has its benefits and were pleased with the shuttle service. I would not recommend this hotel for families with children or the elderly, as it is quite a walk from the masjid and back especially in the Saudi heat

The hotel was an excellent 4 star hotel with good staff. However the shuttle service was unreliable as sometimes you would need to wait for 20 minutes outside the hotel in the bus because the driver decided to take a break. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk but it was sometimes too difficult to do that in 45C heat. Also it was a very busy time when we got to Makkah, i.e. Ramadhan, which meant road blocks and lots of traffic. Hence you could be waiting for the bus in the Haram underpass for 20-30 mins.
It's better to stay here in an off-peak time or during winter. Other than that a really nice stay.
