First we toured the Florentin neighborhood with a really lovely grafiti artist, Niva, who pointed out and explained to us all kinds of things about grafiti that we wouldn't have otherwise known, then we did grafiti ourselves! Great activity for family with older kids. Everyone enjoyed, and even admitted that it was a cool activity. THANKS GRAFITIYUL!

Was recommended by another (American) friend, and the tour did not disappoint us (two guys, late 30 something finance types, for context). A great walk though Florentin, a hipster / Brooklyn / Shoreditch type neighborhood - with Tai, who provided an honest, genuine view of the area and the stories behind the graffiti. The workshop piece at the end was such a treat.

Grafitiyul was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. We went with a total of 8 kids from age 6 to 19 -every kid plus all the parents enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Elinoy was interesting, entertaining and patient with all the questions. It really gave me a new appreciation and understanding of the whole graffiti culture. My daughter summed it up best when she said she would never look at graffiti the same way again. We did the workshop part at the end where everyone got to paint some graffiti of their own. We had to drag the kids away. Highly highly recommended!

My first reaction was: “I came over 5000 miles to see graffiti??!!!” Yes! This graffiti and our tour leader’s explanations made this a real highlight of our trip.
There’s such sardonic humor, creativity, despair and hope in the graffiti. Such stories of survival were related that I was amazed and humbled. Our guide, a graffiti artist herself, was knowledgeable, irreverent, funny and so very interesting. I only regret that I didn’t know enough about criminal behavior to become one of the “criminals” on the tour. Maybe next time.
Take the tour. The art changes almost daily, so its always fresh.

We took the graffiti tour with workshop. Our tour guide Elinoy was high energy from start to finish. She is a bona fide graffiti artist, and she shared her insider knowledge with us, helping us interpret the messages of the various graffiti artists in the Florentin. The workshop took place in an alley near Elinoy.’s studio, and she did a great job of quickly teaching us techniques to create our own artwork. Highly recommend!!
