We are a couple that stayed four nights. We were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade to a suite. The room was very clean, modern, and spacious. The bed large and comfortable. There was a small fridge, kettle, and coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was modern, clean, and roomy. The hotel staff (all of them) were friendly and helpful. The breakafast was bountiful with freshly cooked omlettes and fresh juice available. There is a gym available 24 hours. Location is great---2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to Tel Aviv port, 3 minutes to Ben Yehuda street and 5 minutes
to Dizengoff were on both streets there are all the major bus routes. Only negative thing i can think of is that the reading lights by the bed were inadequate. We are definately planning to return here the next time we have a vacation in Tel Aviv.

We had the best experience there. We went there the night before our wedding and got upgraded to a better suite and let us checkout late with no extra charge. They where super nice and attentive throughout our stay and applied to all our requests ( and we had quite a few). Thank you so much for the best of time and reducing a lot from the pressure of the big day.

We stayed here for the first time for 2 weeks while in Tel-Aviv. The staff at all levels is very nice and courteous. The breakfast spread is very good and nicely presented, the room is nice.
A few things we didn't like:
1) They charged us $20 per night for parking our rented car
2) AT check-In, usually hotels take the credit card for security, instead they charged the whole amount upfront and after we made some noise about it they reversed it.
3) We arrived on the 4th of December. The "Calendar" says that it is Winter and the fact that on the day it was 23 degrees (Celsius) didn't matter much, we could NOT cool the room and were told to turn off the AC or move to another room...

Room tip: When checking-in, check the points in my review

This is the fourth time we have visited the Alexander this year

This hotel is family owned and once spend some time there - you will get the feel

We met the family one day at breakfast and we all became friends They helped with restaurants, shopping, spas etc etc.

The hotel is a suite hotel and is therefore great for families or couples
Thanks Riki and Tania - you guys are amazing

Room tip: ask for a room facing the ocean- there is a great view
