I know hotel staffs have a lot of turnover, and while there is a bunch of new staff at Herod's, they still did a great job. Danit took care of everything we needed and Alex in the sky lounge was also super helpful. Still the best place to stay on the beach.

We the crew of Airindia are put up at this lovely hotel for our stay overs.
Superb view of the beach from almost every part of the hotel. Sumptuous breakfast spread and a special mention for the manager and hostess Ms Sandra for taking special care of my crew some of whom were vegetarian she had special veg cooked for them in a jiffy. All in all a great first time experience.

Worst experience in my entire life! Do NOT stay here. Staff are incompetent and rude to the point of being offensive. Hotel below any standards at all. When we chose to leave as soon as they enabled us to, we had massive issues with the refund, then to be promised the monies within 7 days; and at this moment - 8 days later, I’m still waiting.... Spoke to customer services, only to be told to get lost, basically.

Who is from Europe or America used to service 5 stars - will be disappointed

I have experience from last week with clients - 50 people. The hotel is presented as 5 stars, but the level corresponds to the average 3-star hotel.
Older equipment, restaurant services are average. The staff was not guided by anyone, the dishes used were on the tables, dirt on the ground. I had to urge the breakfast offer - the remains of cheese, pizzas several times to bring the staff up to the offer.

It was a tragic event that on Saturday, thanks to the Jewish feast, the rooms were available very late. At 19.30, we did not have 8 rooms out of 25. Staff often do not speak English, only Russian, which is a 5-star shame. As a bonus - we had cockroaches in the room. I will not bring my clients to this hotel next time.

Spent a week there. The room was cozy & clean, with a great view. The beach is right out the door, and Dizengoff St is a short walk. Nice morning buffet included. Spotty WiFi was my only problem, and slightly slow elevators.
