Our daughter frequented this small cafe when she spent a year studying in Jerusalem and recommended we eat there on a recent trip to Israel. What a place! Huge portions of tasty and wholesome food at reasonable prices. Tiny interior but has tables outside when the weather’s nice. Has the best French toast and salads, but the shakshuka wasn’t too shabby either. Friendly servers. Highly recommend.

Very nice lunch we had here, shakshuka is a great breakfast/lunch deal with sauces, bread, salad and a drink all for one price! Place is cosy, clean, more European style comparing with other Israeli diners.
Quiet but located few steps outside the Old City.
The place to go on Shabbat, open on Saturdays!!!!

My daughter, 19 year old teenager raved about this restaurant. I went with her during chanucah vacation and really enjoyed it. Very laid back quiet so unpretensious and yummy. Prices are good food was presented really nicely. Simple tasty, away from the crowds, no view, no special area but just cool quiet and friendly. Perfect when you want to get away from the crowds but round the corner from the hustle and bustle.

I try to go at least once a week. The wait staff is small so sometimes it can be a bit slow, but an excellent place to relax over a nice cup of coffee and consistently wonderful food. For breakfast, the french toast is excellent. For lunch, go for any of the salads and a smoothie. (Passion fruit 'Sunny" is the best!)

The only thing left to say was that the lovely staff were overworked and overwhelmed. They tried but they were really, really slow. Maybe because it was Shabbat lunch time or maybe it's just the way they are. I'll come back beause it was good.
