Although our travel agenbt had booked a group of 21 into this hotel about five months before our visit, but when we arrived, we were assigned poor quality rooms and the excuse was that there was a 'marathon' next day and all hotel rooms were booked! The room assigned to us had no windows, very cramped and not well maintained. The room and bathroom were very small; the bathroom had no space for towels, soap dish or any amenities! After much complaining, we were moved to a better room on the second day of stay (reasonable size and good bathroom). The staff appeared to be helping, but I found them a bit rude. The restaurant staff was very helpful and friendly and catered to our special requests with a smile.

Room Tip: Ensure tyhe rooms are not on the ground floor, near the elevators

Room cleanliness is a disaster. The hotel's location is among Arabs. Hotel staff unprofessional and very naughty. -Environment food quality. waiters behaved bad with us. We put little places in Romania many were in the group, and to have a lunch and had to finish some eat others.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We went in this hotel with a group of friends, we stayed here for 3 night (four days in total), we have found the hotel very central located (approx 15 minute walking distance from Damasco Gate) and all the important Gerusalemme's main attractions.
The hotel itself was very cleaned, and confortable.

I stayed at National a couple of times, and the highlights are the location and breakfast. About the rooms: it really varies, sometimes you get a fairly spacious room with a good bathroom, if you are unlucky, you get a small room with a shower that can barely fit an adult in it... but in average the hotel is pretty good.
