This diner that serves American burgers, as well as some local dishes, is centered around Elvis Presley. There are memorabilia and photos of the iconic singer everywhere. Elvis songs predominate the play list. If you order a hot drink like a coffee, you get to take home a souvenir mug of Elvis.
The burgers our party ordered were prepared as ordered and delicious. I however didn't see any milkshakes on the menu, which a diner should have. The service was fast and friendly.
All in all, it was a fun spot for our party to relax in and enjoy a lunch. Definitely worth a stop if you are hankering for an American style burger and fries.

Fun little diner on our way to the airport. Good hamburgers, the fries were different but still good. Service was great, prices were a little high ($18.00 American $$) for a hamburger with fries.
Not what I expected on our last day in Israel, but it certainly was a unique stop considering where we were.
There is a small fee for using the restrooms, but that was pretty typical for the area.

On the way from Jerusalem, attacked by sudden terrible hunger, we got no choice but to stop at the Elvis diner. Not being fans of American diners, we chose local food - hummus, pitas and salads were really delicious and fresh and a cappuccino afterwards smooth and pleasant. And we got the Elvis mugs as a souvenir for free :-)

Elvis American Diner no doubt is the most recommended restaurant for its theme scenario of Elvis. It has the best hummus and spectacular hamburgers, with amazing desserts. You will find an excellent staff. Absolutely you will enjoy.

Returning along the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway from two days at the Dead Sea and Masada, our tour guide had played on the bus several Elvis hits: Fools Rush In, Suspicious Minds. I thought the selections were strange, but I enjoyed the music. Then I saw a larger-than-life Elvis standing atop a building. Elvis lives!☺

Then I saw that the establishment name is Elvis American Diner. This appears to be a typical American diner from the 1950s, much like the Route 66 Diner in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which I reviewed for TripAdvisor last August. Needless to say, everything here concerns Elvis: coffee mugs, baseball caps (depicted in the accompanying photo), and images of The King everywhere. The so-called cuisine is typical American: hamburgers & greasy fries. This is, however, something more typical of Israel: humus. One of the accompanying photos depicts Elvis as the Best Bartender in Israel. This diner is more of a time machine taking visitors back to the 1950s (when Elvis was healthy and trim) than it concerns the food, the main reason hordes of people throng through the doors. I enjoyed the time travel and Elvis tunes while there. Highly recommended!
