My daughter and I stayed at Little House for our 9 days in Jerusalem. Due to changes in our air travel, we arrived exhausted at 9 am after 30 hours of travel, expecting that we would have to wait till 2 pm to check in. The staff, seeing how tired we were, got us into a room immediately! Our accommodations were clean and well-suited to our needs, the desk and housekeeping staff were always willing to assist and just take time to visit and answer questions. The kosher breakfast was amazing, with great variety. I miss it already! We spent a good amount of time in the adjacent patio area in the evenings visiting with other guests and locals over a glass of wine. The Baka neighborhood was charming to stroll through - we enjoyed two great meals at Kalo Cafe and also at Adom at First Station (15 minute walk). Tasty falafel stand just around the corner. Laundry/dry cleaners is right next door, and we took advantage of it. But, in the end, it was the staff of the hotel that made this experience memorable. If you just want an American-style hotel where you only meet Americans (and I am one), this is not the place for you. But if you want a truly great cross-cultural experience staffed by amazing and hospitable people, you have come to the right place! Thanks again to Avi, Morad, Nathan, Olga, Hytem, Shlomi, Mustafa, and Oded (I hope I spelled your names correctly) for a wonderful time we will never forget!
