Excellent location ! Close to Ben Yehuda and Nachalat Ashiva. Supermarket, restaurants, caffes, pubs in the vicinity. Walking distance to Mamila hopping center and Old Town.
We were visiting Jerusalem with our 13 and 19 year old kids. We all were accommodated comfortably in the apartment.
Apartment is pretty much as described. 5th floor with elevator. Doron and Didi are very helpful, ready to answer any question and help.
We came to Jerusalem with our car. The apartment building does not have a parking lot. It took us some time to find overnight parking in the vicinity. So if you are coming with the car, do the homework and know where you will be parking. Since the apartment is truly in the centre of everything, even the short time parking is a problem there. It's a centre of Jerusalem problem, not the apartment one :-)
To sum up.
Great apartment. In the centre of Jerusalem in a very lively neighbourhood. Close to main attractions. Very friendly owners, Highly recommended.

This apartment location is really perfect for a city break in Jerusalem.
We are family of 5 with older teenagers with lots of city break experience and we recommend this apartment. It is located in the pedestrianized shopping area with all the shops and restaurants on the doorstep. There is a good supermarket across the street, Italian restaurant below, MacDonalds one block away plus many others.
Its only 10 minutes walk to the JaffaGate ( Old City ) meaning that siesta is an easy option if you need a break at midday and also you can easily go back to the holy sites at evening.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable and cool and we looked forward to going back to it in the evening ( usually we stay in places not as good as this) . There is Wifi and flatscreen TVs. Its really very comfortable indeed. Doron the manager made sure everything was ok for us during our visit.
The kitchen is very well equipped but we really only used it for making breakfast.
Bedrooms and bathroom are all great too.
We would certainly stay here if we get back to Jerusalem.

Doron was absolutely friendly and very accommodating. He met us at the apartment and made sure everything worked. He has a friend that works/lives nearby to assist with any particular issues. The location is only 1 block from Ben Yehuda, which is fun and convenient, but loud on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Ben Yehuda Street really comes alive on these nights. The location is surrounded by many nearby restaurants and shops, a few of which are conveniently open during Shabat. It's a 10 minute walk from Mamilla Mall and a 15 minute walk from Jaffa Gate.
The main bed is soft and comfy. Our boys slept well on the other beds too. The apartment has a nice set up with couches, kitchenette, washer/dryer, dishes, towels, linens, wifi and more. If you are coming from the United States make sure you know how to use European-style washers. The pictures on this site are absolutely accurate. There is also elevator access.
The only issues we had was that the water pressure in the shower can be low when others in the building are using water also, but we managed. We would definitely go back because the location is convenient and the price is right.

The biggest downside to this apartment is that it is in a very loud location. If you can sleep through noise, then this is not an issue, and I would probably give the place four or even five stars. If you can't sleep through the noise, or can't easily, I would probably give the place a lower number of stars, like two or three.
In short, this place has everything you could want from a short-term rental - a washer/dryer that works, wireless Internet, etc. It's very close to the main attractions in Jerusalem - you can reach the Old City at a casual stroll in 20 minutes. Ben Yehuda street is right outside of your window, which means easy shopping and places you can grab a quick bite to eat. There's a 24-hour supermarket right across the way where you can buy basics and a larger supermarket about a 15-minute walk away.
The owner is pretty flexible about arrival and leaving arrangements and helps out if you don't understand how to work things. He provides a good level of service and is easy to reach if you need him.
The apartment is reasonably comfortable. The bed and pull-out couches are comfortable and good quality. The chairs and table are a little Spartan for my tastes. The apartment also has a dishwasher.
Unlike other vacation rentals, the owner provides you with all of the basics that you need there - dishwashing powder, laundry powder, etc. This makes it easy to come in and go out.
I would recommend washing the dishes before you use them. I don't know if it had just been a while before we were there, but everything had a fine coat of dust when we arrived.
Parking here is expensive if you have to park during the day - 90 NIS a day during the week. 20 NIS for a night. You can find on the street parking, which is free until 8 am, sometimes, but not if you come back too late at night.
