This truly is a great place to stop and visit if you are anywhere in the area. On the left as soon as you enter into the kibbutz area. There are lots of wines and the fantastic local liquors! "Ran" our host/bartender was extremely helpful and made sure we tried all the house favorites (and then even served espresso before getting back on the road). A definite and most unexpected highlight of the days touring. Absolutely will be back.

We visited this Winery as one of our stops for my Birthright trip (are they trying to get us drunk?). We got to try a shot of about five of their different flavoured liqueurs - pomegranate, passion fruit, dark chocolate, almond and honey. I've never tasted anything quite like them. I ended up buying passion fruit and dark chocolate for back home. They are slightly expensive, at 60 shekels (around £10) a bottle for 200ml - 500ml, though relative to other liqueurs I could not comment on price comparison.

Lovely vibrant staff, recommend as a stop for people wanting a different taste of Israel.

I was working in Amiad as a volunteer in 1994 and 1995. I've had a great time there. I was also working in the winery.First we had to pick the kiwi's and after we put the paper on the bottle and make ready for the market. The wine taste very nice what i can remember only I've never found the wine in Holland I don't have digital pictures so i can't send any picuters
