Lovely hotel, super clean, helpful staff. Saved us money finding transport to Palmukkali .
Beautiful breakfast on the roof with views. The swimming pool area is lovely , decorated with flowers and a special place to have a beer and relax. Tours can be arranged and it is close to everything.

This hotel in Selcuk was the perfect place for us while visiting Ephesus and Sirince. Thank you to the very welcoming owner Osman and to Asim. The place is very clean and the rooms are basic but comfortable with heater or AC. Excellent breakfast are served on the terrace. I also recommend to take the opportunity to try so home-made food for dinner, the meals are delicious. One of the best value hotel for us while visiting Turkey. We highly recommend.

I could tell by the quick responses to my e-mails that this hotel was going to good. We were met at the bus Otogar by the owner Ayson ( I think 's how it's spelt ) who took us and our luggage back to the Hotel. It's only a 5 minute walk but with luggage a whole lot easier by car. We were met at the door by two more family members who welcomed us in. The room was basic but very clean.
We ordered a home cooked meal that night which was delicious, and very reasonably priced too.
The owners even povided transport to Ephesus and back to train station on check out.
Breakfast is served on the terrace which has a nice view of the Citadel and partial views of St John church. If you want 5 star family orientated hospitality at a budget price, you could not go better than this place. They can not do enough for you. We recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Try and get a room that faces away from the street

This hotel is a perfect place to base yourself at while exploring Ephesus and Sirince Village. The owners (Osman and Asim) are genuinely nice. The property is kept very clean. In fact, when I stayed here at the end of March, they had just finished doing some maintenance work in the off season. Thus, walls had been freshly repainted, mattresses had been replaced, bathrooms had been renovated, etc. While this is certainly no five-star hotel, I cannot think of anything bad about this hotel given the price of its room.

Room Tip: Select rooms with balcony offering a nice view of Selcuk Castle.

We stayed at the Nazar in early April 2012 for three nights. It was one of the best value for money hotels we have stayed at. The owners who ran the hotel were welcoming and helpful without being pushy. They offered suggestions and also helped with cheaper alternatives. We used a family room for three adults and although not spacious it was comfortable, clean and attractive.
The breakfasts were very good, rolls, yogurt, omelette, etc and the rooftop restaurant was a place to retreat to.
They picked us up from the bus station and when we saw them at the train station on an early departure they went and delivered bread rolls for us while we waited for the train.
Two minor issues. The beds were doubles and two of us were over 6 feet tall and they were a bit small. The pool was not too clean, but early April is not swimming weather in Selcuk.

Room Tip: The streets can be a little noisy so perhaps a room not on the street would be good if a little noise bothers you.
