This place is the historical centre of the Istanbul. Very Close to a lot of mueseams and bazaars. You must visit and drink some tea at this place

The mosque itself is closed at this time for renovation. The square is busy and on a good sunny day, the stroll is nice. It is a central point that leads to everywhere in the city.

With so many moods to share it is worth staying near the square to enjoy it in all weather day and night. Even after 6 nights we went there before we walked home to marvel time and time again at the coloured fountain casting its spell over the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. You can't go too often

this is another gorgeous area. you have hagia sophia to the rear, and the blue mosque to the front, and the hippodrome to the right of blue mosque and you can take in all beauty.and to the left of the blue mosque and down the steps is a smaller bazaar. and across the street from hagia sophia is the bascila cistern and the opposite direction is topkapi palace. you can see alot of things from this square.

This is an area where you can sit down and enjoy the beautiful view you have. The most important buildings are around it. There are restaurants, shops, and places nearby where you can buy snacks.
We felt safe at all times of the day.
Oh! There are some people who start talking to you and offer you to take you to see rugs. Eventhough they were not dangerous nor they threat you in any way, it's up to you to go or decline.
I recommend this place.
