This is a real treat of a restaurant and shouldn't be missed because of its splendid food and spectacular views. The restaurant staff are as highly trained and professional as any you will find in this city. But, rarely can you find a location is comfortable to look across the saltwater from a white tablecloth restaurant.
Try the yoğurtlu şakşuka (yogurt meze with fried eggplant, mild peppers and potato), the içli köfte (meatballs rolled in bulgur) and the lahmacun (thin, meat-topped pizza) followed by any of the kebaps and you'll leave happy – finish with the house-made baklava or künefe (layers of kadayif – dough soaked in syrup and topped with a layer of clotted cream – cemented together with sweet cheese, doused in syrup and served hot with a sprinkling of pistachio).
There is a bar with alcohol (unavailable during Ramadan, of course). Prices are what you would expect in a five-star restaurant ~ but well worth it if you have an the opportunity to splurge. Stroll by earlier in the day and make your reservation will be prepared to wait for 30 minutes during busy periods. Strongly recommended.
