Hospitality, politeness, very nice breakfast, cosy place, very nice view of Bosphorus from the restaurant, are the basic elements of this hotel!

When you pull up to the Ottoman Park Hotel you get one of those awkward feelings in the pit of your stomach and a "why did you choose this hotel" thought crosses your mind as all the building around the hotel do not look the most inviting. Luckily the ottoman looks superb and once you walk inside you are warmly greeted. The hotel itself is in great condition and truly worthy of its 4 star rating. Although located at the bottom of a hill it I well located for blue mosque, grand bazaar and other popular destinations. The rooms are clean and well kept and the hotel restaurant is both well priced and of high quality. A hint with the hotel restaurant is get the waiter to repeat your order as once or twice we had food that wasn't exactly what we ordered. Other than this the service was excellent and next time we return to Istanbul this hotel will be on the top of our list!

We loved our 5 night stay at Ottoman Park Hotel. What a convenient location! The room was spacious and clean and we really did appreciate the bathroom/hamam facilities to warm up after a full day exploration of Istanbul in still chilly February. There is also a proper heating system with radiators. The staff was very effficient, friendly and helpful. We liked to take the breakfast in the room overlooking the Marmara Sea even though it was too cold to go on the terrace and we indulged in the Turkish specialities offered on the buffet.
We couldn't get into internet one evening but the problem had been fixed when we returned back from sightseeing the next day.
Our neighbours were a bit loud with TV programmes but we were tired enough to fall asleep anyway.
We changed to this hotel at the last minute having booked one before in Beyoglu. It certainly was a good decision!

On my first tirp to Istanbul I had the pleasure of spending four nights in this splendid property. The condition of the overall property and the rooms was excellent. There is a lovely dining area on the top floor that overlooks the Marmara Sea and allows for outside dining in pleasant weather. They had ample choices for breakfast, we didn't eat any other meals there. The front desk and service were friendly and very helpful. Upon arrival they provided a map and an overview of the top tourist attractions. They also assisted with any questions, such as opening and closing times, cost, etc. We also took their car service both from and to the airport. Even though we were the last through customs, their dirver was waiting. An excellent driver who navigated the challenges of Istanbul traffic flawlessly. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro and the major attractions in the old city area--but be prepared as the walk is up hill. I would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: Higher floor will reduce some traffic noise
