We found the hotel staff very helpful ,the location is within walking distance to all the sight seeing
attractions we were recommended this hotel by a friend & were not disappointed the best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by taxi Mr varol at the reception will help you with this, as with the Metro you have to change and with luggage can be difficult especially at rush hour times he will aslo help you with tours & restaurants

The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of the major tourist places. We had a corner room which was beautiful! From our window we could see the Marmara Sea, and the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque. The upstairs dining area was closed due to weather - we were there in February. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and delicious, served in the lobby. It's also within walking distance to the Tram station, which is the BEST way to travel around Istanbul. You can purchase a pay as you go electronic ticket which will make your trips on a Tram, ferry, or public toilet in the bazaars cost around $1.10/each. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if ever in Istanbul again.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room with a view of the Sea. You will not be disappointed!

I found this hotel as a very good choice. The location is excellent, hotel is cozy and comfortable. Room was very clean and we had good sleep in our beds. We saw the roof terrace, but since it wasn't the season, we couldn't enjoy on it. I could just imagine how beautiful may be during the summer. Breakfast was such a surprise to us, such a variety of food, tasteful, and no limits in quantity. We were very pleased and satisfied. The staff was very kind and helpful, specially Mr. Okan. They tried to meet all our needs, to give information, to organize transfer, to give suggestion. All in all , I will come back to this hotel, next time I'm in Istanbul and will recommend with pleasure.

My husband and I loved Hotel Daphne. We had a corner room, beautifully appointed, on the second floor with a view to next-door Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, the old Roman column, and the sea. The staff were so charming and helpful and responded to our every request with the kindest of care. Varol in particular, who helmed the reception desk in the evenings, we liked in particular. He reminded us of an Italian movie star! Very nice breakfast in the mornings. Excellent location. A find!

Room Tip: As for a corner room facing the mosque and the sea. It's beautiful.
