This toy museum is not only for kids, it also appeals to adults. Located on a residential neighbourhoud on the Asian side, it's quite away from traditional tourist destinations. But if you have time and if you happen to be on the Asian side of the city, it might worth a visit.

There are parking lots in front of the building but you have to let the concierge know you are there for the museum so that he opens the locks, otherwise, you have to stroll in nearby streets to find a parking spot. Entrance fee is 12 TL per person, 9.- TL for students.

It's not exactly a museum but rather an exhibit of personal toy collections. The exhibits are not efficiently categorized. There are very few explanatory notes but the existing ones are both in Turkish and in English. Audio guide is also available and the bonus is that the narrator is the owner of the museum who is a famous writer and motivational speaker.

There is also a charming café at the basement. There are various workshops for children, the day we were there the workshop was on Flinstone cartoon drawings and parents were waiting for their kids in the café.

Off the beaten track - but a great time. Well worth the visit. Great for families for small children. Fantastic for the young a heart and nostalgic for the more senior generation
