This bridge is the Connection between Galata and the old part of Istanbul. You see lots of fishermen every day. Underneath the bridge are restaurants. Avoid them, too expensive, made for tourists.
We passed the bridge every day while we visited Istanbul. Very nice. On the side of the pld town you find a Camii (closed March/April 2018) a basar where you can buy spices and boats with good fish dishes. Ist street Food, try it.
From here ist not far to the big Bazar, Hayga Sofia and Topkapi Palace.
