A great cruise during the day. Value of money. Highly recommended. An opportunity to spend some time in the village and visit a castle (almost non-existing). Good spot for taking pics and spot black sea.

Go for the 2 hour return trip if time is tight, leaves the dock at 14.30 hours. Sit on the port (left) side of the boat as you will be going out on the Galata Tower side of the water. Goes across the bay to the Asia side, up and under 2 road bridges and returns the same way. Snack bar on board.

When you visit Istanbul you will no doubt be lured by the bosporus and the golden horn and a trip on a boat, do not hesitate to take the plunge and get your water legs on! You can take a boat at many places e.g. kadikoy, ortakoy or eminönü and for 20tl you can escape up the bosporus to the golden horn for about an hour. I did this on 3 occasions once in the evening and while it was lovely it was a bit chilly, I could have sat inside but it's so much nicer to sit on the top deck and see Istanbul by night. Enjoy

Uneventful cruise with pre-recorded narrations in English on the scenery and buildings on both sides of the straits. between the European and Asian sides. Frankly I couldn't differentiate the Asian or European sides of the straits - all the building looked similar to me. The open upper deck could be too cold for some passengers as it was still early spring. A glass of tea would be great but the crew took too long to prepare and there was hardly time to enjoy the hot tea. Still the cruise is recommended for the experience and maybe bragging rights.

This was a quick and nice tour (cruise). Took 1,5 hours on the boat, watching European and Asian side of Istanbul and enjoying the cruise for just 12 TRY.
Possible to buy some snacks on the boat.
Would go again.
