A small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, it offers good value and a good location. It is close to the centre, and offers easy access to public transport in Istanbul and some of the main sights. The room was fine - a good size and it had obviously been renovated to some extent within the last 12 months, particularly the bathroom. The breakfast was good quality and very adequate. It is a slightly steep climb up the hill to the Aghia Sofia and Blue Mosque, but this would only present a problem of people. There are plenty of small places to eat and drink locally with reasonable prices and quality.
This hotel doesn't pretend to be five star luxury, but it is very good in respect of value for money and trying hard to please its customers. The staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful and were very accommodating.
The road outside does get busy at times - it is narrow and suffers slightly from blockages, but despite being in a room overlooking the road, this was not a problem at night at all, so we had very good nights sleep during our stay.More
