highly recommended

I can highly recommend this beautiful and super clean hotel with its really polite stuff. Isharra from the reception helped me with all my questions and needs. Breakfast buffet was also really good. From the rooftop pool you have a nice view at the sea. Rooms are beautiful with animal prints on the wall.

Excellent customer service

My staying in this hotel was good, the front office experience with Ms. Farzana was excellent, she is a kind person and informative with good knowledge on the tourism, business and culture.
The location of the hotel is very good,the parking area is available, very clean in maintenance,

Wonder Hotel-great for a short stay in Colombo, Sri Lanka

The staff, service and hospitality were all top grade. The breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory, no complaints about that. The manager, Irfan, made every effort to see that the guest had what they wanted. Very useful tips and advice was also given by the luggage porter, Kassim.

Nicht gefallen · Food and drinks, other than the inclusive breakfast can be had cheaper outside the hotel. I would recommend "Elite", the restaurant just around the corner opposite the mosque for Chinese and Indian cuisine.
For day tours and such, refuse the hotel's overtures, cheaper ones can be had from Lotus Cabs (Telefon: +94 917 223 223).

I found it a bit annoying that almost every member of the service staff begged you to post a good rating of him and the hotel on Trip Advisor.

Room tip: Any room you take would be quiet, because the windows in every room are sealed blocking outside noise. Every room has air conditioning.

Great hotel in central Colombo

We have stayed in quite a few hotels in central Colombo over the years. The Wonder hotel is one of the best in terms of value for money and we have returned there a number of times.
The premium rooms are certainly worth the money. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, good view, pretty good A/C and a clean, fully functioning attached bathroom. The 5 star hotel up the room charges significantly more for a smaller room with just the same facilities.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
It is great value for money and we would definitely stay here again when next in Colombo.

Exceptional view of the sea from room

The room was large and had a great view of the sea. It is a short walk from the beach
Customer service was prompt and efficient. The ever smiling Isharra and Farzana were very helpful. Overall a very good place to stay in Colombo.
