One of the temples in the capital. This one was quite nice to visit since it was not so crowded and the monks were doing their daily chores.

The buddha laying down at the entrance is quite spectacular. Some amazing architecture and a lovely walk through the grounds looking at the statues.

Beautiful grounds, statues surround the entire complex, lots of ancient artifacts. We went as part of OAT group, and went into the general meeting room to talk to a monk and novice about their lives. Very informative, they also showed us how monks dress and the differences. Learned a lot, but also enjoyed just walking around taking it all in.

Some attractions and sites are easier to visit than others, and this Tranquil historical temple is close to the city center, and a good mix of historical and active religion.
