I spend 4 days in this lovely hotel. I recommend it, the staff was great very kind and attentive, the room was nice very quiet, with AC and fan on the ceiling very reasonable price (between $10 and $18 per night).
I give my compliment to the chef for his original menu made of a mix between French and Asian food
As I right my comment I read the others : I don t understand such comment as Jonh and some other did we are in Asia and I m living in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, in here most of countries are very hot and worm weather, and unfortunately we can go anywhere in the world the problem of people who have money and use other who doesn’t exist everywhere, same thing for prostitution…
Anyway Cambodia and Phnom Penh is a very beautiful and cultural place with nice local

We stayed here for one long night. It was $10, on the fifth floor - which just has a fan rather than AC. We had light sleep on the bed while sweating in the 35 degrees heat. It was cruel - as an Irishman, I'm not used to this kind of heat & humidity.

You get what you pay for - at $10, it constitutes amazing value in Irish terms, but in hindsight, we should have opted for a room with AC.

We stayed there on the night before we left Cambodia. By this stage in the trip, we could see in the shadows of the city a bit more clearly (the poverty & prostitution, the exploitation of natives by the kind of colonial tourist that could live like a lord there if their dole money went into their bank account!)

This new perception got mixed up with this hotel & probably makes for an unfair review. On the plus side, the staff were very nice & it was clean.

Room Tip: Go lower than the 5th floor to ensure you have AC! Wheelchair users must avoid!

Dear Customer,
Thank you for staying in your hotel or we strive to maintain a satisfactory service for those looking to spend no more than $ 10 not, but who find other rooms with A / C are more comfortable for only 5 to 10 $ more.
As in the European country discrimanation exists in Cambodia and we can not stop the way to our hotel on presentation of proper identification.
If a few of enter we find negative aspects I think they are the responsibility of the behavior of some tourists and not Cambodian.
Fortunately that only a minority and there are other more positive aspects to remember, like beauty and charm of the country, the friendliness of the people and especially the past of the great constructions with Angkor.

Good hotel for budget traveller. Walking distance to most attractions in town, and lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Rooms were clean. Lots of stairs so request a low level if you don't feel like carrying your luggage up, we were offered no assistance with this but it didn't really bother us. Also the wifi connection did not work in our room. Looked as though the bathroom had been recently renovated, although there was still a bit of mould around the bath. Shower over bathtub which was nice, most other budget places that i have stayed in have had the shower over the toilet. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This big hotel with 100 rooms have cheap prices ($20) for a room with A/C, ceiling fan, comfortable bed, TV, fridge, water bottles, soap, toothpaste and even slippers. There are also rooms for 10$ at 5th floor but has only a fan.
The cleaning staff is available smiling and all day-long.
The bed sheets are changed daily and the bathroom is very clean.
Note the lack of Wi-Fi. You have to go to the reception to have a direct connection to the cable.
The breakfast is simple but well cooked, fresh, and very good, with delicious orange juice.
The restaurant is great, it has a former chef from France , Pascal. He suggests products from markets nearby everyday.
If you want to go to the restaurant, you should book a table because it is often full.
Victor, the boss manager, eyes everywhere to make your stay goes well and gives you all the information requested.
The hotel also offers bike rentals, travel arrangements, bus tickets sales, visa extension and everything a tourist needs.
The central location is a large economy by tuk tuk and taxis. It is also to reach the river bank which is a few minutes across the flower market.
And elevator will also be installed in may.

Room Tip: You should pick rooms from the first and second floor because there is no elevator, yet.

Firstly this hotel is not on the river, you have to walk through the rancid street market to get to it. Secondly, we found if you are girls you can write off any expectations of good customer service. I also witnessed a cockroach maul my toothbrush, even though we were on the third floor! If you're arranging travel onwards it's probably best you sort this yourself, don't go through the 'hotel'! There are plenty of decent looking hotels on the main strip by the river.
Just one more thing, 'free wifi'' i don't think so! Our phones and Ipods couldn't even find the hub to connect to and there is only one computer in a very hot corner of the reception and it kept crashing!
