,Just had a visit to Royal palace Phnom Penh, sorry to say not that great they have some nice stuff but very poorly put together. Pay your money, get your ticket and your off no guide map parts of grounds closed of, You have to find your own way about but be careful where you go or try and take a photo as with a lot of things you visit in Cambodia no pictures allowed. Oh and you had better go covered up or you wont get in, but you can buy a tee shirt if they decide you are not dressed properly. Price is $6.25 per adult and I think £3.00 for tee shirt AS i said has the potential but why try when the place is busy.

I visited the Royal Palace during a trip to Cambodia in February, 2012. It is absolutely worth your time to visit this beautiful place. My recommendation is to hire one of the private tour guides...(prices are very reasonable) and you just ask for one when you pay your entrance fee. Walking around the grounds would have been worth the visit...they are absolutely stunning. But, hearing about the history and inner-workings of the Royal Palace from the tour guide really enhanced our visit. We were truly blown away by the vibrant colors, stunning architecture and amazing flora throughout the Royal Palace grounds. Put it on your Phnom Penh visit "places to see" list...you won't be disappointed.
