It can be considered one of the best frenh restaurant we had in many years though i am not a big fan of french. Food was very good and well decorated. Service was excellent as well. We love their bread and starters dishes. Lot of wine choices as well.

We had a night out for a party of 11.
We all had appetisers, mains & desserts.
Entrance to the restaurant was well laid out.
The ambience great with versions of a number of famous paintings hanging on the walls.
Lighting for the restaurant highlighted the tables & settings well.
The freshly cooked food was good.
The breads served with butter in a cold stone slab were a treat. Crunchy on the outside with a delicious soft centre.
You must try the crayfish creamy soup. It was close to perfection!
The fillet mignon was excellent as was the Rochefort sauce which I ordered to accompany the succulent steak. A cream dressing for the meat to die for.
The lobster pasta is another dish not to be missed.
The triple chocolate dessert ( we made a change to the vanilla ice-cream to chocolate :) ) is another delicacy to experience. Chocolate heaven could not come sooner.
what disappointed us was the Baked Alaska. It came out flat (it is supposed to be creamy baked meringue enveloping aromatic vanilla ice-cream but our dessert was a collapsed mass of egg white bubbles with a vague roasted surface), the waiter delivered it to the wrong person and there was just too much rum in the flaming pour.
Other than this dessert disaster the night was wonderful

Dear Keniclim, thank you for choosing Topaz for your evening gathering. I'm very happy that you found so much of the evening and the dishes so good, and thank you for all your kind words in this regard. I'm terribly sorry though that the Baked Alaska was far from the standards set up by the rest of your meal, and we have discussed this internally to make sure it doesn't happen again. I hope we will see you at Topaz once again, at the least for an opportunity to serve a Baked Alaska in all its proper glory. With kind regards,

Dear Alan, I'm delighted that you followed your concierge's advice and chose to experience Topaz. We love our decor where we aim to achieve an understated refinement, but absolutely agree with you that the food is the main thing, and I'm very glad that you enjoyed it. I hope you will choose us on your next trip to Phnom Penh. With kind regards,
