Located in district 7 cost of a taxi from district one is approx 100,000 to 130,000 vnd, well worth the trip. Good choice of shops and prices are reasonable.

I have been here a few times and the restaurants are delicious and safe to eat (something that does worry me at times eating in Vietnam). If your looking for a place to shop and relax, this is the shopping mall for you. You must try the Korean BBQ upstairs!

Located in District 7, this is your standard suburban shopping mall. There are always some type of special event taking place with entertainment.

Most of the shops are what you would expect in the Western world from Geox to Starbucks to The Body Shop and everything else in between. The prices however, are drastically higher then you would expect despite most products being produced here in Vietnam or in neighbouring countries. This is due in large part of the luxury taxes, so don't expect to find any exceptional deals.

If you're from North America or Europe, don't waste your time or money, as there's nothing exceptional about the mall from either a shopping or architectural standpoint.

After mainly visiting District 1 and 5 in HCMC, we decided to move out these boundaries and plan to visit other places and so District 7 is our next target. We came by here for a visit on a Monday.

Over the years, HCMC has developed very rapidly and many commercial and residential projects have been implemented and now the city has so many new highrise buildings and the government has expanded the developments to the other districts beside district 1. This shopping mall is a good example!

Located in District 7 (near the Korean area) and about a good 20mins drive from Ben Thanh (under normal traffic conditions), this mall has the same name as one of the major shopping malls in Singapore, Vivocity at Harbourfront area. I suspect the developer of this mall is the same as the one in Singapore since it carries the same name, with similar logo and colour and its design concept is almost identical!

The mall was quite "empty" when we arrived and it was almost 10.45am, very quiet with few shoppers. The mall was huge, modern, bright, trendy and nice covering several storeys. There are many chain or boutique shops here, ranging from local and international stores selling fashion, shoes, bags, cosmetics, watches, lifestyle products, books and stationery, toys, cinemas, etc and many more.

There are also several restaurants, fast food chain, desserts shops and cafes here. So you will have lots of dinning choices. There is also an Xtra Hypermarket (the name sounded like the one from Singapore too), covering two storeys including a big supermarket on the upper floor.

This is truly a "all under one roof" shopping and dinning mall catering to everyone of different ages. One can spend hours here and so do allocate more time here. There are also seats everywhere in the mall, to let tired shoppers rest. Prices here are generally reasonable.

For us, we spent about 2 hours plus shopping here (and of course bought several things) before heading to another new shopping mall nearby, The Crescent Mall. (do check out my earlier review of this mall here too) Somehow we felt we were back in Singapore doing our weekly shopping!
