I'm a professional admin, hotel arrangement is part of my job. Our Staffs travel to HCMC a lot and they frequently stay at Millennium Hotel, which recently change the name to M Boutique Hotel.
Hotel Location is good
Facilities is average
But after years of support their hotel, what we experienced this week is unacceptable. my colleague checked-out in Tuesday morning, he forgot his pair of shoes in the room, we called back in the evening to the hotel and they said that the shoes was throw away. I request them to investigate and answer me on the next day, but they did not have any feedback until Thursday afternoon with the same answer, the shoes was throw away because guest put it on the floor ?
Where should we place a pair of shoes so it won't be throwing away?. This is unacceptable.

The millennium boutique hotel was in a back road/alley that was pretty dirty and smelly. Certainly didn't have the appeal of the lavish and beautiful hotels we passed in the taxi on the way there. It was very small. There was hardly space for your suitcase and the bathrooms were a tiny see-through box in the corner of the room. Everything about the motel is small to be honest, the restaurant, the elevator, the rooftop bar and pool (lap pool). It was clean and the staff were friendly enough, the location was good but so were all the others around us and they seemed much nicer. It wasn't boutique and certainly was no where near the 4 star hotels we stayed in other locations in Vietnam. Looking at prices now, I'd book somewhere else next time.

Great location close to the main area. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable. Nice breakfast with a good selection. Rooftop bar was great with views over the city. Would stay here again.
