The caption says it all. Plus i find the place cheap and worth it as the Banh Mi is huge and clean place to seat and chill! Lots of choices from menu including vegetarians. Recommend to visit this place if your in Hanoi!

My husband and I walked across town to eat at Banh Mi 37. We arrived famished around 2PM. Unfortunately, this stand does not open until 4PM. However, the woman patiently cooking the meatballs for what must be hours a day led us to believe it was worth coming back for. So we did. The next day around 4:30PM, we made the trek across town again to wait in line for this Banh Mi, and it was totally worth it. The people working this stand function like a machine building these delicious sandwiches. The meatballs are insanely good, the bread is flaky perfection, and the herbs brighten each bite.

You do have to look down the alley for this spot - we almost missed it, but knew it was worth looking for. There is also a delicious noodle soup stand in the same alley (Bun Bo Hue), which we ate the first time we tried to go to Banh Mi 37. If you end up making the same mistake we did, hit up Bun Bo Hue and enjoy!

This is a small street cart at an alley entrance and the service quick but don't expect smile's as they are too busy serving the line waiting for their pork roll. Crunchy bread roll with pork patties unusual salad combination but yummy and so cheap at 20k dong.
Would certainly return it ever back here. The three family members work at it until the food is gone and then they shut up shop ie cart and go. So be early.

We went to this place twice in our trip. These aren’t your typical Banh Mi with cold cuts she makes delicious patties on the grill beside her and makes the best sandwich I’ve ever had! You have to go here you won’t regret it!!

Excellent banh mi. Wonderful fresh bread, nice portion of roasted pork pickled vegetables and fresh greens. Is this the best in town? Who cares. Just avoid the places Anthony Boursin recommends cause that is the kiss of death.

My title is a bit tongue in cheek, but there is also some truth to it. Same for pho. Choose a place with lineups and locals. Order, enjoy.
