We stayed here for three nights when returning back to Sai gon from Mui ne. The hotel was very clean and simple. Breakfast was not so good. The location was OK took taxis to most everything we wanted to see as walking in the 45 degree temps and sunshine was too much for us to do often. We had to ask for a safe in our room but once we asked they brought one up immediately. There was a small fridge. Huge jacuzzi bathtub, no shower but you could use the telephone shower head. The bed was very hard, even for vietnam. The wifi worked very well and was included in the price. Overall it was good value for the price. We stayed at the Grand the first night and that place was amazing but four times the price. if you are doing a lot of sightseeing and just need a clean, simple place to sleep, the Sophie is a good choice.
The Silverland hotel just next store had an amazing spa. A jacuzzi tub, sauna, shower, etc all part of the experience. Very close to western standards, super clean, professional and not your seedy happy-ending kind of place. Ask for Rosie she was an excellent Massage therapist and one of the most professional ones I had in Vietnam. It was so good my boyfriend and I had three massages here over the course of our stay. Spa was excellent value for the money. We ate at a good Japanese resto within walking distance and the Irish pub around the corner (we were needing a break from Vietnamese food for a bit.)
