If you happen to see the big banners saying 14 cha ca la vong, FREE BEER, with loud dance music from a speaker by the road, DO NOT ENTER.

It was too late by the time I saw the countless reviews about customers getting ripped off, the amount they charged could've lasted me for at least 10 meals. Food was by far the worst I had on this trip, and I had to end my day with this terrible experience. Oh and the free beer was a gimmick too. Total rip off.

P. S. I created a tripadvisor account just for this, that should tell you how bad the whole thing was.

They only do one dish, and u cook it yourself, it's pretty tasty( if u like fish noodles and veg), not overly expensive (if u don't drink too many beers) but you are just paying for the novelty however it is a good novelty

Little hole in the wall. We where brought here by our Thai friends. The menu only has one thing (fish), so you just sit and they will bring you your food. The food was really good, worth trying it.

Terrible (when u go to the wrong restaurant). Be very cautious to go to the right restaurant, which is on the even numbered side of road. When you enter street, there's a restaurant with big signage (& lights) saying no 14, cha ca la vong. This is the WRONG restaurant. Original is on other side of road with unassuming wooden doors/entrance. Rip off prices at the fake restaurant and food isn't even nice. Original restaurant should take action for having their name and reputation "stolen". Many innocent tourists like myself probably fell into same trap and found out the truth too late to back out.

The house special is nothing but a few dollars worth of oil-fried fish loaf.

Please know what you're ordering! Nobody speaks English (or at least appears to.) We ordered the fish for 2 which cost 400,000 VND. The owner/manager then asked if we wanted another piece of fish for 30,000 VND. Sure, why not? Except they added a dozen pieces, hidden in with the rest which isn't what it appears to be. It's not breaded fresh fish but fish loaf. Add two drinks and we were at 820,000 VND total. And it was mediocre, at best. Sure looked good on the menu, though. We left with bad tastes in our mouths, literally and figuratively.
