We stayed two nights in First Eden and we can't say anything bad about it. The rooms were good, everything was clean. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the fact that the hotel was quite far from the bustling old town and center where most of the activities were taking place.

we stayed here through our tour company. We had 2 separate nights here.

The first night we had a room with no view and the room was very basic/ average. The informed us breakfast was at level 10 but we forgot and went to the breakfast on the ground floor. Which turned out to be a better option as another couple had breakfast on level 10 and said it was horrible, the food were cold and they didn't have as much options like the noodle soup. Even on the ground floor, you will need to scoop the food from the bottom as the top were cold. Overall the breakfast option wasn't too bad

The downside to this hotel is that there is ONLY 1 lift and it's a tiny lift. we waited for about 20 mins just to get on the lift. As there were other tour groups leaving at the same time the lift was always full. If you don't have luggage take the stairs.

The receptionist were very friendly and helpful.
It is located 20 mins walk from the central area where the markets/ lake/ restaurants are. There are a few restaurants around the hotel but not much shopping.

Second stay the rooms were better and had a window which made the room bigger and brighter.

Out of all the accommodations from the tour, this was our least favorite.

Spent two nights here on the first leg of our tour across Vietnam, decent hotel, really friendly staff, fairly central and a decent breakfast. We were able to leave luggage overnight when we went to Halong Bay. Rooms clean with decent amenities and good wifi. Certainly recommend.
