We really wanted to try Highlands Coffee in Hanoi and we initially wanted to go to the branch near Hoan Kiem Lake. But I'm happy we went here instead! It's like a ferry in the middle of West Lake. It's so pretty! I super love the interior and they have red bean green tea!!! This drink has two of my favorite things! This is officially my favorite drink. They also have it in Orientea, but this had beans on top, which I loooove. The place is so comfy, we noticed that the other people there had there feet up. So I did it, too. Sorry hahaha. It was the perfect place to chill while waiting for the rain to let up.

Was not impressed at all. It took a very long time to get my cappuccino and it was disappointing both in flavor and presentation.

If you just need your coffee fix, then it's OK but if you are looking for an experience then there are loads of other options in the area.

Hanoi is charming but it is also hot, humid, crowded and 'strange'... Yes, unless you speak the language, it is a challenge to feel comfortable here.

So walking into the Highlands Coffee ship in Xuan Dieu provided a pleasant respite... a step back into the comforts of the world left behind. The wifi is free and easily available, the coffee is excellent and comes in all the variations of 'back home', the air conditioning is strong enough and the music is typical of Starbucks/ Costa's. The seating is plentiful and the place is obviously very popular with foreigners and Locals alike, who spend much of the day conveniently 'connected' here on their laptops and tablets!

They have lice music on Saturday nights, so if you go Saturday before the live music starts they charge you a premium as well. its BS. By far the worst cong caphe in Hanoi, Cong Caphe is excellent, but this one ruins the brand. Staff are very arrogant too. Best drink - Coconut Coffee
