Beautiful waterfall but i was surprised to see all these man made things, e.g. rollercoaster down to waterfall.
It was a shame it was not left in its natural state.

Just an ordinary waterfall, less beautiful than many others in sea. Really crowded by local and asian tourists. Apron 1,80€ entrance fee for the boring waterfall and a unnatural surrounding with lots of souvenir stalls, a restaurant and a strange path through the whole place - everything looks kind of staged, processed and man made. No natural beauty at this spot! To be honest the best thing was the short but funny roller coaster down to the waterfall (another 1,80€) but this again strengthens the feeling of a set up amusement part rather than a peaceful natural getaway.

It's not somewhere you need to spend long, maybe an hour or less. We got the toboggan down, pretty fun! The waterfall itself was gorgeous, ruined a little bit when there is a mass group of tourists.

I had been to Datanla before and there have been a lot of changes! Now you can visit more than the first waterfall, which is pretty imoressive by itself and already worth the price of the ticket to visit the park (about 2 dollars). Try riding the cars down to the first waterfall (mini roller coaster). it's fun and you will definitely get butterflies in your stomach. From the first waterfall and for another 2 dollars take the cable car to the next waterfall ... Definitely worth it. The cable car will leave you at the top of the waterfall and then you can take an elevator down. Amazing views!

We decided to do this trip on our own, catching the local bus to the falls (green bus number 1 costing 10,000 dong each) showing the bus driver 'Thac Datlana' name on a piece of paper. We caught the bus from the top of Khu Hoa Binh road. The driver stopped outside the falls for us.

It wasn't very busy when we arrived. The rollercoaster was 50,000 dong each for a return ticket. I've been on one of these before at Vinpearl in Nha Trang. Unfortunately, there is little to no instructions, so it was somewhat more dangerous here. The couples in front of us were travelling at snails pace down the track taking selfies, which pretty much ruined it. The inconsiderate couple behind me were too busy taking selfies and slammed into the back of me at full speed resulting in a head injury requiring a visit to the hospital later that day with a CT scan. I would highly recommend NOT letting children on this ride, the staff don't care about safety and I was lucky to not have any permanent damage...

The falls themselves are a bit of a let down. The cable car is also a waste of time/money. Probably be more scenic taking the walk.
