Contrary to another review this hotel is NOT at the top end of Walking Street. It is located in Soi Yensabai close to Sunnee Plaza opposite a large 7/11 store. The owners have very recently spent a lot of money renovating and upgrading all the rooms in the hotel. I stayed here for 10 days in January 2012 and I was the first occupant of one of the new rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and contain everything you might expect and, unusually, they have lots of storage space for clothes and things which is great. The shower room/toilet is compact but user friendly. The rooms are squeaky clean and far better than you might expect. Guests also have access to a very nice open air swimming pool. Breakfast is not included and for a good one I went to Three Zone cafe which is in Sunnee Plaza 2 minutes walk from the Marina. All in all, a good place to stay with a good room rate. By the way, the cheapest room rate is obtained by booking direct with the Marina..
This Hotel on the top side Of Walking Street, just 5 minute walk to the entertainment 10 Minutes to the Beach and the now Famous Pattaya Beer Garden for a slice of everything.

the huge building appartment called MARINE YENSABAI.off Pratamnak Road , turn up Soi 18.
It is tucked away behind the markets in South Pattaya Road , it is in a multi cultural area with Middle Eastern Flavours, mixed with a multi sexual European influence with Many Cafes aqnd Bars nearby.
The MARINA INN is very clean and with good security system in place, although two cards are needed most times to let yourself back in after a swim, with 30 rooms on the first floor (unfortunately currently renovating upstairs just above your Pillow if you fancy an afternoon nap, but it will be for the good in the end) then opening out to the cleanest deepest and COLDEST SWIMMING POOL in the whole of Asia. Alongside the Pool is a nice Restaurant and Bar with a touch of French cuisine and Western foods, available for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner.
All in All you could stay at the MARINA INN PLAZA HOTEL at Soi Yen Sabai for the full 30 day visa visit for the same price charged by some other Pattaya Hotels for a seven night stay.
