“a wee piece of paradise”
Reviewed 12 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Just back from a few weeks in Samui and stayed here for 5 nights. From the start to end the stay was wonderful. Looked after by the delightful Pom, who also cooked us an amazing feast one night (you must do this if you stay). Easy enough to get taxis around the place and can walk along the beach (and sea) to local places, Robertos the Italian is cool and I spent an afterooon out with the owner as he gave me a lift into town after lunch and we visited a few places and he drove me back - beat that for friendliness!! View is lovely and the sea water very warm and so shallow for hundreds of metres. Villa has everything you need to make it home from home and very few mozies, which was a bonus! More than happily return - thanks Fiona and Pom!!!!

“Best Vacation and we've been around the world!”
Reviewed 8 September 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Traveling to Koh Samui for our 25th wedding anniversary was the best decision ever! Once we decided as a family on the location, it was up to me to find the right villa. We are a family of 5: our children are in their 20s and we are in our 50s. I chose Indu Beach Villa to accommodate our varied interests and also knew it could house our two extra guests. My husband and I love luxury and being right on the water, the kids like their own space and places they can walk to. Everything about Indu Beach villa was perfect starting with the wonderful housekeeper, Pom! Pom greeted us with orchid leis and fresh coconut water after the driver picked us up from he airport (arranged by owners). I highly recommend being picked up by their driver who knows the location of the villa as it is not easy to find and language is an issue with taxi drivers. However, we could’ve done without stopping at the 7Eleven to pick up groceries on our way to the villa. Pom had a delicious Green Curry with shrimp and vegetables waiting for us when we arrived. Our children, coming in a few hours after us, had some difficulties with their luggage and missed their connection. Pom was able to let the driver know and then when my son’s bag still didn’t arrive, she handled everything for us. It arrived the next day right to the house.
We met David (British) who was in charge of several villas in the little gated community that Indu Beach is part of. There were 4 full days that the entire area was without power and each time it happened David took care of letting us know either directly or through Pom. The outage had nothing to do with the villa—there was construction going on at the main road so the entire area was without power. Although this meant no AC or internet, espresso maker or blender…there was no better place to be “stranded” out of our comfort zone. We had rented an SUV (with Pom’s help) since we were a group of 7so we could get around easily when the power outage forced us to unplug and explore other parts of the island.
The one thing I had been unsure about was the distance to the real nightlife and tourist area, Chaweng. I thought perhaps once we went there—the kids would’ve wished we had been staying closer, but this was not the case at all. They LOVED our location and being able to wake up, take a walk or run on the beach, dip in the pool, walk down the beach 5 minutes one way for a massage and the other way 5 minutes to a delicious meal and cold beer.
The layout of the villa was great, too. The two separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were huge and private with their own AC controls. The bedroom that was an extension of the living room also worked very well for us since only 1 person needed to stay there. It may have been tough for two adults to stay on that day bed, but it worked fine for our daughter. Our room (master bedroom) was absolutely gorgeous. I’m not sure I would’ve thought it would be ok without an actual door, but again—it turned out to be perfect. (There is a steel spiral staircase that leads directly from the living room up to the Master bedroom).
Beside the gorgeous views and stunning villa, Pom, the housekeeper, made our two weeks extra special. We wanted to experience different aspects of life in Thailand so Pom took us grocery shopping with her, clothes shopping, we invited her out to Bophut Village with us and paid her extra to give us cooking lessons which turned out to be the best two nights of our stay! We met her husband who also took care of the pool and their adorable 2 year old daughter.
She absolutely went above and beyond her role as housekeeper!
The only downside to staying at Indu Beach Villa is that we never went into the sea that was right in front of us (except on kayak). Due to the tide, it was too shallow during the day. I'm not sure if this is different at other times of the year but we just never ventured in. We still wouldn't have traded places with any other spots we visited. We used the pool several times a day and loved the long expanse of beach. The view of the water was enough for us and when we went exploring to other areas, we went into the water there.
We have traveled all over the world staying in a variety of luxury accommodations in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, Asia and Australia and this trip was our favorite. Thank you for renting us Indu Beach Villa.

“Perfect for our family needs”
Reviewed 17 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a great time, the house was amazing, right on the beach. The pool was great, very good for families and the master bedroom rooms were amazing to wake up to.
The only recommendation I would have is to provide more communication about how to get around, taxis, events, etc, rather than just rely on the helper. She was great, but would not want her to be the sole method of communication.
The supermarket and ATM can be quite far, so would also recommend guests carry lots of cash, as credit cards seems to be difficult to use as well.
All in all very good, and would go back

Thank you for your lovely and informative review Simon. We agree, we rely heavily on Pom when we are on the island but this is due to many Thai taxi firms not speaking English very well and it's difficult to describe our location, this is why it states in our guest guide about finding it just as easy to head to the road and flag a taxi or tuk tuk down rather than communicate ourselves by phone, just recommendations from our personal experiences of Koh Samui. We would love to welcome you and your family back again in future! We hope your trip back was without delay and you are not suffering too many post holiday blues!

“FANTASTIC!”
Reviewed 23 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We loved our stay at Indu beach. The villa was immaculate and very peaceful which was exactly what we needed. Added to this Pom the housemaid was a delight. We loved seeing her smiling face every day. Nothing was too much for her and she was always available at any time for any assistance. I highly recommend this villa!

Villa was exactly as pictured. We throughly enjoyed this gem and found it to be a terrific value. Pom was the added exclamination point to our stay. We highly recommend allowing her to cook for you, food was outstanding. Communications with the villa owner and Pom was flawless and swift.
