Me and my boyfriend booked for the half day cooking class. We were picked up and a group of us were taken to the local market however we didn’t buy anything so we didn’t understand this part. When we arrived at the cooking school everything was very unorganised and the staff didn’t tell us what to do so we all sat around waiting for an hour! We were then split into groups of people who spoke Chinese and then people who spoke English, there were only 6 of us in our group which was nice. We all got to choose a soup, curry and noodle dish and then everyone made ice tea at the end. We all cooked together even though we’d chosen different dishes to make. Our instructor was lovely and explained everything very well. We all got to eat the food together apart from the curry, because we ran out of time due to the confusion at the start we were given the option to eat there or take away, however everyone else wanted to take it away so we did too. At the end we were all given a cook book with recipes and how to cook all the dishes (not just the ones we made) which was nice that we have something to keep!
